Fundraising...

 

So here's the tricky bit! As a non-profit charity, everything that you fundraise goes towards the project you take part in. We recieve a budget breakdown from CYPPD to work out how much money needs to be raised. Typically in a group of 6 -8 Volunteers for the Camp Project £6000 will need to be raised. This seems alot on paper, but a steady and constant effort to fundraise means it can be easily done. As a committee we will help with ideas and fundraising to ensure that the teams reach their target.

 

Previous fundraising efforts have included Pub-quiz nights, DJ nights, clothes swaps, bake sales, glowstick selling, sponsered runs/swims/silences and also selling artwork.

 

Whilst on the Camp Project, food and accomadation is provided so there is very little living expense once you are actually there, however there is always the local shop that sells chocolate, which usually becomes a weekly pilgrimage!
