Project Mongolia is a charitable society based at Edinburgh University that was set up in February 2011. We aim to support Mongolian charities working with disadvantaged children from the Ger district in Ulaanbaatar and hopes to build lasting links between Edinburgh and Mongolia through cultural exchange volunteer projects.
Everyone is encouraged to get involved whether you’d like to go abroad and gain volunteering experience or equally be part of a proactive society in Edinburgh. The committee includes people who have previously worked in Mongolia providing excellent support to volunteers.
Being part of Project Mongolia is a great way to acquire new skills, gain experience of the charity sector, meet new people and have the summer of a life time teaching English and First Aid.
